The Alabama Department of Vocational Rehabilitation Services-(VR), Assists Alabamians with disabilities achieve independence through employment. VR provides specialized employment- and education-related services and training to assist teens and adults with disabilities in becoming employed. VR Staff work with job seekers to locate employment that specifically matches the jobseekers abilities and education. VR staff offer job development, job placement, and job referrals. They also offer to assist job seekers with completing job applications, creating resumes, and interview training.
